Calsey Beazer is one of the beauties Barbuda withholds.  
She was born under a bright morning star on December 6th 1988. Till this day, morning star still remains apart of her birth name. She was raised in Barbuda with a magnificent family consisting of her encouraging mother, step father and six supportive brothers she can always rely on.

Growing up was like exploring the world. Calsey always had a mission to complete; whether to go fishing, crab hunting, or even collecting honey from bees. Some say she was more of a “Tom Boy”.    

Calsey is a very intelligent person. During her elementary schooling she won best essay for her class’ DARE programme. Since that day she has had a passion for writing. She was also an integral part of the Young Leaders Group, Junior Achievement, and her school’s debating team.   Calsey proudly graduated with eight (8) CXC subjects.  

Upon graduation, Calsey migrated to Antigua where she gained temporary employment.   While employed she also trained for accreditation as a Certified Medical Transcriptionist.  She is now the recipient of an official Certificate of Accreditation for this course.   Calsey found that this transition period was one of great interest as she was forced to acquaint herself to a different way of life.

Calsey’s has her eyes set on becoming a clothing designer; thus making Barbuda much more visible on the map.
